ACCAM SPA (Associazione consortile comuni Alto Milanese) founded in 1970 as a Society to study, programme and develop plants for waste disposal as an alternative to garbage dumps. From the first of January 2004 ACCAM, which includes 27 communities between Altomilanese and Varesotto, became a corporation which wanted to expand its mission: from simple waste disposal to a proper environmental agency.
