AVEDISCO (a professional association which sells services directly to the consumers) is a professional association that represents industrial and commercial companies, both Italian and international, which utilizes direct sales for the distribution of their products and services. Founded in 1969, today it holds 36 associate companies. In 2005, together with consumer associations, it was the prime mover of Law 173 for «the discipline of direct sales and the safeguarding of consumers in the pyramidal sales
scheme ».
